Up to 32 independent serial buses can be captured and displayed together. In addition, different bus types can be captured and displayed together. For example, you can capture a CAN, LIN, and RS-232 bus in one trace and display them together.

CAN Triggering
The GoLogic cannot trigger on specific CAN bus values. We recommend using the "Immediate" TriggerForm to capture the CAN bus. Since the GoLogic only stores samples when the bus is active, there is plenty of memory depth to capture what you need.

I2C Analysis

I2C Timing Analysis
The I2C Timing Analysis samples the I2C bus with the correct resolution for the bus speed you select and stores the raw signals. This allows you to analyze the raw I2C signals in the WaveForm window, but fewer I2C transactions can be captured in a trace.

I2C State Analysis
I2C State Analysis shift the raw signals into formatted 10-bit values inside the GoLogic hardware. Only these processed values are stored to memory and downloaded for viewing. This technique allows a much larger number of I2C transactions to be captured in a single trace. However, the raw I2C signals cannot be viewed in the WaveForm window .

I2C Triggering
Special I2C Triggering is available when I2C Timing or State Analysis is active. You can trigger on an I2C address, data at a specific address, a series of I2C addresses, or a series of data values...
