The GoLogic™ includes
free serial bus analysis tools including...
Up to 32 independent serial buses can be captured and
displayed together. In addition, different bus types can be captured and displayed
together. For example, you can capture a CAN, LIN, and RS-232 bus in one
trace and display them together.
CAN Timing Analysis
The CAN Timing Analysis mode samples the serial bus with the correct
resolution for the baud rate you enter and stores the bus signal(s) in raw form...

- Full details on the CAN sampling mode
(including a video tutorial) are available
Here!
CAN Triggering
The GoLogic cannot trigger on specific
CAN bus values. We recommend using the "Immediate" TriggerForm to capture
the CAN bus. Since the GoLogic only stores samples when the bus is active,
there is plenty of memory depth to capture what you need.
CAN Searching
After the data is
downloaded, our powerful CAN SearchForm
can be used to locate the data you need to examine...

CAN Display
Once a trace is captured from the CAN bus, the
CAN Display Plug-In displays the captured trace data in a condensed format
while the WaveForm window displays both the raw CAN signals and the
converted bus values...

LIN Timing Analysis
The LIN Timing Analysis mode samples the serial bus with the correct
resolution for the baud rate you enter and stores the bus signal(s) in raw form...

- Full details on the LIN sampling mode
(including a video tutorial) are available
Here!
LIN Triggering
The GoLogic cannot trigger on specific
LIN bus values. We recommend using the "Immediate" TriggerForm to capture
the LIN bus. Since the GoLogic only stores samples when the bus is active,
there is plenty of memory depth to capture what you need.
LIN Searching
After the data is downloaded, our
powerful LIN SearchForm
can be used to locate the data you need to examine...

LIN Display
Once a trace is captured from the LIN bus, the
LIN Display Plug-In displays the captured trace data in a condensed format
while the WaveForm window displays both the raw LIN signals and the
converted bus values...

I2C Timing Analysis
The I2C Timing Analysis samples the I2C bus with
the correct resolution for the bus speed you select and stores the raw signals. This allows you to
analyze the raw I2C signals in the WaveForm window, but fewer I2C
transactions can be captured in a trace.

I2C State Analysis
I2C State Analysis shift the raw signals into
formatted 10-bit values inside the GoLogic hardware. Only these processed
values are stored to memory and downloaded for viewing.
This technique allows a
much larger number of I2C transactions to be captured in a single trace. However, the raw I2C signals cannot be viewed in the WaveForm window
.

- Full details on the I2C sampling modes
(including a video tutorial) are available
Here!
I2C Triggering
Special I2C Triggering is available when
I2C Timing or State Analysis is active. You can trigger on an I2C address,
data at a specific address, a series of I2C addresses, or a series of data
values...

- Full details on the I2C triggering is
available
Here!
I2C Display
Once a trace is captured from the I2C
bus, the I2C Display Plug-In displays the captured trace data in a condensed format
while the WaveForm window displays both the raw I2C signals and the
converted bus values...

SPI Timing Analysis
The SPI Timing Analysis mode samples the SPI bus with
the correct resolution for the bit-rate you enter and stores the raw signals. The serial bits are interpreted by the SPI
Interpreter Plug-In for easy viewing. The raw signals are also viewed in the WaveForm window to expose timing errors or glitches...

- Full details on the SPI sampling mode
(including a video tutorial) are available
Here!
SPI Triggering
Special SPI Triggering which allows you to
trigger on a single SPI data value is available when SPI
Timing is active...

- Full details on the SPI triggering is
available

SPI Display
Once a trace is captured from the SPI bus, the
SPI Display Plug-In displays the captured trace data in a condensed format
while the WaveForm window displays both the raw
SPI signals and the
converted bus values...

RS-232 Timing Analysis
The RS-232 Timing Analysis mode samples the serial bus with the correct resolution
for the baud rate you enter and stores the RXD and TXD bus
signals in raw form...

- Full details on the RS-232 sampling mode
(including a video tutorial) are available

RS-232 Triggering
The GoLogic cannot trigger on specific
RS-232 data values. We recommend using the "Immediate" TriggerForm to
capture the RS-232 bus. Since the GoLogic only stores samples when the bus
is active, there is plenty of memory depth to capture what you need.
RS-232 Searching
After the data is
downloaded, our powerful RS-232 SearchForm
can be used to locate the data you need to examine...

RS-232 Display
Once a trace is captured from the RS-232 bus, the
RS-232 Display Plug-In displays the captured trace data in a condensed format
while the WaveForm window displays both the raw RS-232 signals and the
converted bus values...

Bitstream Timing Analysis
The Bitstream Timing Analysis mode samples the serial bus with the correct resolution
for the clock period you enter and stores the bus
signal in raw form...

- Full details on the bitstream sampling mode
(including a video tutorial) are available
Here!
Bitstream Triggering
The GoLogic cannot trigger on specific
bitstream data values. We recommend using the "Immediate" TriggerForm to
capture the serial bits bus. Since the GoLogic only stores samples when the bus
is active, there is plenty of memory depth to capture what you need.

powerful Bitstream SearchForm

Once a trace is captured from the generic
serial bus, the
Bitstream Display Plug-In displays the captured trace data in a condensed format
while the WaveForm window displays both the raw bitstream signals and the
converted bus values...
