Software Development Kit (SDK)

The SDK is freely available on our Downloads page.

The SDK allows our customers to create custom programs which directly control the GoLogic™.
The SDK provides...

  • Complete documentation of the GoLogic programming interface
  • C/C++ header files
  • Several Visual Studio 2005 C/C++  example projects
  • A Visual Basic .NET example project
  • A Visual Basic 6 example project
  • A LabView 7 example project

Creating custom GoLogic™ software is easy, but limited technical support is available because the SDK is free.

Can I use the GoLogic for unusual applications?

Yes, the GoLogic's advanced sampling and triggering features are ideal for capturing sporadic, high-speed digital signals with nanosecond resolution. Traditional digital data acquisition devices do not have this capability.

For example, a well-known aerospace company takes advantage of our Transitional timing analysis feature to test their aircraft cables and associated connectors. A constant 5-volt signal is applied to the wires while the cables are shaken, frozen, heated, and soaked. The GoLogic™ is left running for days. Each time a cable or connector breaks contact, the GoLogic™ detects the "high-to-low" transition and stores a sample. The captured data indicates the total number of faults per wire and each fault’s duration with nanosecond resolution.
